Palos Verdes Residence

Built in 1917, this historic Colonial-style home in Palos Verdes offered a beautiful architectural foundation and the chance to bring in a fresh, expressive point of view. Our client loves bold color and unexpected details, so our vision was to create interiors that feel vibrant and exciting while respecting the home’s traditional character.

Throughout the main living spaces, we layered rich color, playful pattern and distinctive furnishings to create rooms full of personality. Treasured family heirlooms were woven in throughout, so the old and the new each have their moment. Vibrant textiles, statement wallcoverings and curated accents bring energy and individuality, while the classic architectural details provide a timeless backdrop.

Upstairs, we took a softer approach, with a calming palette of muted blues, warm neutrals and delicate patterns. Layers of texture and subtle color create a sense of tranquility without losing the character found throughout the rest of the home.

The result is a home that balances tradition with a spirited sense of style, where every room feels collected, inviting and distinctly personal.
